The Hutchinson Hockey Association (HHA) strives to create an environment that encourages creativity, discipline, leadership, sportsmanship and competition, thus building character in all youth who choose to participate. Our youth are our greatest asset.
The Swine Barn is now open
The Swine Barn is open for the season! HHA registered players and coaches can utilize a third sheet of ice located in the Swine barn at the McLeod County Fairgrounds. The idea is to create more hockey time with your teammates and provide a pond hockey experience, including 3-on-3 scrimmages.
Shooting tarps will be available for kids to practice shooting on the ice. They roll up to be out of the way when multiple kids are present to scrimmage.

**This space is privately rented by the Hutchinson Hockey Association. Only registered and rostered players and coaches are allowed on the ice. A minimum of one SafeSport approved parent/guardian must be present during any ice time.**

HHA Apparel 2024-2025 Shop
The last apparel window is now open until Dec. 17th. Orders are anticipated to be ready the week of January 8th - 14th.

Skate sharpening schedule
HHA has a Sparx machine to offer skate sharpening services. This is open to anybody to get their hockey skates sharpened during the available times. The cost is $5 per sharpening or 5 for $20 with a punch card purchase - cash only, please.

DIBS CHECK NEEDED
DIBS hours: each family must provide a check in the amount of $525 (15 hour of DIBS x $35/hr) or $ 262.50 for first year families. This check will not be cashed until the end of the season and only if you have unworked DIBS hours. Please write the check to HHA and date it for February 15, 2025.

2024 Summer Shooting Challenge
This is an optional 'challenge' to encourage skill development during the off-season!
Timing: May 1- August 31
Categories (# of shots):
2,000-3,999 | 4,000-5,999 | 6,000-7,999 | 8,000-9,999 | 10,000+
Any player from any level can participate in any category! Please encourage your player(s) to make a goal before starting the challenge. There are about 120 days in the challenge to factor a daily average, i.e. 6,000/120 = 50 shots per day. Any shot counts - wrist shot, slap shot, snap shot, backhand, etc - so mix it up and keep track. A parent must initial the # of shots each day to check in on a regular basis.
